Community Guidelines
Last updated October 16, 2026
jonbur works when people can share honest ideas about Korean stocks and trust what they read. These guidelines apply to everything you post: posts, comments, images, profiles and messages. Breaking them can mean removed posts, limits, or a closed account.
No pump-and-dump or coordinated trading
Don't try to move a stock's price. That means no organising group buying or selling ("everyone buy at 10am"), no hyping a stock so you can sell to the people who believe you, and no rumours or fake news meant to push a price up or down. This harms other investors and is illegal in Korea and most countries.
Disclose your positions
If you own, plan to buy, or are about to sell a stock you're talking about, say so (for example "I own this"). It helps others weigh your view.
No undisclosed paid promotion
If anyone pays you or gives you anything of value to talk about a stock or company, say so clearly in the post, every time. Companies and their staff must say who they are.
Be honest
Don't post false or misleading information, made-up numbers or fake screenshots. Share sources where you can, and correct mistakes. Opinions are fine; present them as opinions, not facts.
Be kind
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are. Don't pile on, and don't post people's private information.
Be yourself
Don't pretend to be someone else, including other users, creators, companies, analysts or officials. Parody accounts must say so clearly. One person, one account.
No spam or scams
No repetitive posts, link farming, fake engagement, referral spam, "guaranteed returns" schemes, or asking people to move to private chats to sell them something.
Keep it legal
No inside information, illegal content, copyrighted material you don't have the right to share, or offers of financial services you're not licensed to provide.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it or email [email protected] with a link. We review reports and act on them, and we don't tell the person who reported them.
