코스피200 (koseupi ibaek)

An index of 200 large KOSPI companies, the basis for Korea's main futures, options and many ETFs.

The KOSPI 200 (코스피200) is an index of 200 large, liquid companies listed on the KOSPI market, chosen to represent the main industries. It is reviewed twice a year.

It is the basis for Korea's main index futures and options and for many ETFs. Joining or leaving the index can move a stock because index funds have to buy or sell it. The KOSDAQ equivalent is the KOSDAQ 150.
