상대강도지수 (RSI) (sangdae gangdo jisu)
Relative Strength Index (RSI)
Reviewed October 15, 2026
A 0–100 measure of how strong recent gains were against recent losses; above 70 is often called overbought, below 30 oversold.
RSI was introduced by J. Welles Wilder in 1978. It compares the average size of up days with that of down days over (usually) 14 days and scales the result from 0 to 100.
Readings above 70 are commonly called overbought and below 30 oversold. In strong trends RSI can stay at those levels for weeks, so an extreme reading on its own says how fast the price moved, not what it will do next.
