이격도 (igyeokdo)

Disparity (price vs moving average)

Reviewed October 15, 2026

The price as a percentage of its moving average: 100 means the price is on its average.

이격도 (disparity) = today's close ÷ the N-day moving average × 100. A 20-day disparity of 110 means the price is 10% above its 20-day average.

Korean investors use it to see how far a stock has run away from its trend: very high or low readings mean a stretched price, which can stay stretched for a while.
