이동평균선 (idong pyeonggyunseon)
Moving average
Reviewed October 15, 2026
The average closing price of the last N trading days, drawn as a line that moves forward each day.
A moving average smooths out daily swings to show the trend: the 20-day line is the average close of the last 20 trading days, and so on. Price above its averages is commonly read as an uptrend, below as a downtrend.
Korean brokers' charts traditionally show the 5-, 20-, 60- and 120-day lines (roughly a week, a month, a quarter and half a year of trading); the 200-day line is the one most watched internationally. JONBUR shows all five, as simple averages of adjusted closing prices.
