거래정지 (georae jeongji)
Trading halt
Reviewed October 15, 2026
Trading in a stock is stopped, for a few minutes or much longer.
거래정지 (georae jeongji) is a trading halt. Short halts happen around important announcements, stock splits or market-alert designations. Long suspensions can happen when a company faces a delisting review, for example after a serious accounting problem or embezzlement.
While a stock is halted you can't buy or sell it on the exchange. The halt notice on KIND says why and, when known, until when.
Also called: trading suspension · 매매거래정지
