밸류업 (baelyueop)

Korea's programme, started in 2024, to get listed companies to raise shareholder value and narrow the 'Korea discount'.

밸류업 (Value-up) is the Korea Corporate Value-up Programme, launched in 2024. Companies are encouraged to publish plans to improve shareholder value, such as higher dividends, buybacks and cancellations, and better capital efficiency.

The Korea Exchange publishes the companies' Value-up plans (기업가치 제고 계획) and runs a Korea Value-up Index of companies that score well.
